Is your ice cream vegan?
Vegans are certainly at home at Australians. Our tempting assortment not only boasts a delicious soya-based ice cream; it also includes a range of refreshing sorbets made exclusively from fruit pulp and sugar. Only our lemon sorbet contains milk powder.
Do you sell lactose-free ice cream?
We sell delicious soya ice cream. Our standard cones are also made from coconut, making them suitable for customers with a lactose intolerance. We prepare our ice cream in our ice cream makers fresh daily. Our soya ice cream is prepared immediately after our sugar-free ice cream and prior to preparing our standard ice cream.
Alternatively, you can opt for a refreshing sorbet. All our sorbets – excluding the lemon flavour – are made exclusively from pure fruit pulp and sugar, and are entirely lactose-free. As our lactose-free ice creams and sorbets are prepared in the same ice cream makers as our standard ice cream, they may, however, contain traces of lactose.
Is the milk in your ice cream pasteurized?
Yes.
What do you mean by homemade?
Our delicious ice cream is lovingly prepared each morning in the two ice cream makers that are visible in all our stores.
How many calories does one scoop of ice cream contain?
Our generous servings vary from store to store. The ice cream of Australian Home Made Ice Cream is 100% natural and our sorbets contain the least calories:
- Australian ice cream vanilla
- Australian raspberry sorbet
Why do flavours differ per store?
We work with self-employed franchisees who determine their own ice cream assortment. They prepare the ice cream in their stores fresh daily.
As a diabetic, I’m careful about my sugar intake. Do you sell sugar-free ice cream?
Absolutely! We sell sugar-free ice cream in delicious vanilla and mocha flavours. We prepare it fresh daily in our ice cream makers. Our sugar-free ice cream is always made prior to preparing our standard ice cream to guarantee that it’s completely sugar-free.
Do your products contain preservatives?
No. What you see, is what you get. We sell entirely natural products. We never add air, water, artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives. Our temptingly delicious ice cream and waffles are made from 100% fresh, quality ingredients.

How many calories does a waffle have?
That’s hard to say. Because our dough is made artisanal, the portions can differ. On average a waffle has 485 kcal. Our waffles are 100% natural. That’s the best way to give in to your guilty pleasure.
